Bali Dive Site / Amed Amed

Location : Amed Dive Sites are located on your left hand site when you facing the open sea. You'll take a 10 minutes "Jukung" ride to start your descent Dives Start from a slope and continue to the small wall
Highlights :

Amed Dive Sites are easy and relaxing. You can dive offer a short " jukung" ride or just off the beach. The underwater life is so dense and the gentle current offers a great number of nutritients to its crowds of fish and soft and hard coral. It is ideal for underwater naturalist and underwater photographers. Great for all level of divers

Conditions : Black sand beach sloping into the water, coral reefs and a wall. As the outriggers are small, divers may Don / Off Scuba Equipment in the water.

Amed Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Padang Bay Kubu

Location : Kubu is a small fishing village on the north side of Tulamben and can be reached by car in about 10 min.
Highlights : There are two dive sites, one in the north (or left) and the other in the south (or right). A highlight is the pygmy seahorses (Hippocampus bargibanti) you can find here. A really great place for muck diving with nudibranchs, shrimps and crabs.
Conditions : With a good current flow in the area. Visibility is around 20m+, Temperatures are usually 26 to 29C but may drop to around 22C

Kubu Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Nusa LembonganNusa Lembongan

Location : Nusa Lembongan dive site stretches along the north coast of Nusa Penida Island East Bali
Highlights : You dive on a steep slope with overhangs and outcroppings and a wide canyon. This dive site is one of these places, that are either absolutely great or just outright boring , depending on the current you encounter.
Conditions : With a good current flow in the area. Visibility is around 20m+, Temperatures are usually 23 to 26c but may drop to around 20c

Bali Dive Site: Padang BayPadang Bai

Location : Padang Bai hideaway village and its white sandy beaches are reached by road only 45 mins from Sanur. Dive Centre & Dive Resort of Absolute Scuba Bali is located on the northern beach front of Padang Bai harbour.
Highlights : A short boat ride will then take you to Padang Bai dive sites. Bright white sand and colorful corals are home to everything from the smallest reef fish to all manner of marine life; rays, cuttlefish, crocodile fish and frequent sharks & turtle sightings.
Conditions : Much more gentle & protected than the islands off the East coast, and for this reason the water of blue lagoon are much warmer.

Padang Bai Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Tepokong Padang BaiTepekong

Location : Close to Candi Dasa there are three larger islands, Tepekong, Gili Biaha & Mimpang
Highlights : Bali Sunfish are regular visitors especially from July to September. This location is a great place to see something "big". Tepekong Sharks are quite common. Bali Sunfish (mola-mola) are also regular
Conditions :

A very small island (only about 3000 m2) with 2 or 3 diving sites. Sometime when the current is right, you can explore the whole underwater sites in just 2 - 3 dives. Water is generally crystal clear with visibility of more than 20m. This area is among the best, yet the most challenging.

Tepekong Dive Site

Bali Dive Site:MimpangMimpang

Location : Close to Candi Dasa there are three larger islands, Tepekong, Gili Biaha & Mimpang
Highlights : Mimpang is also called Batu Tiga (three rocks) although there are actually 4 small exposed rocks that come to the surface, on the center rock there is an eagle nest. This is a slope and a wall with hard and soft corals and some gorgonians. This is the best place around Padang Bai to see sharks but also a good place for Mola Mola. It's also amazing to just watch the big schools of fish gather over the upper parts of the reef. The currents here can be strong, but are said to be predictable.
Conditions : With a good current flow in the area. Visibility is around 20m+, Temperatures are usually 26 to 29C but may drop to around 20C

Mimpang Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Gilli BiahaGili Biaha

Location : Close to Candi Dasa there are three larger islands, Tepekong, Gili Biaha & Mimpang
Highlights : Gili Biaha (Likman island): There is a blow hole which spouts jets of water, so Gili Biaha looks like a large whale! This dive site is not for beginners, since the cold currents coming from the Lombok Strait create unpredictable water movements like a washing machine!
Conditions : With a good current flow in the area. Visibility is around 20m+, Temperatures are usually 26 to 29C but may drop to around 20C

Gilli Biaha Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: TulambenTulamben

Location : Tulamben is located on the northeast coast of Bali at the foot of Mount Gunung Agung (big mountain).
Highlights : Tulamben is mainly known for the US Liberty wreck that lies close to the shore.
Conditions : Current : none to moderate Visibility : 15-30 m Reef characteristics : wreck

Tulamben Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Nusa PenidaNusa Penida

Location : Nusa Penida dive site stretches along the north coast of Nusa Penida Island, East Bali
Highlights : With a strong current flow in the area, generally there are many Anthias around, sometimes big fishes like Giant Trevally, Sharks and if you are lucky, the Bali Sunfish ( Sunfish season Visibility is around 20m and more.
Conditions : Temperatures are usually 26 to 29C but may drop to around 20C, so please be prepared.

Nusa Penida - Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Nusa Penida Manta Point

Location : Manta point dive site is a limestone rock off the southwest coast of Nusa Penida. The above water scenery is dramatic with limestone cliffs that descend straight into the ocean.
Highlights : To dive here is to see the 2 - 4m wide mantas. You may also see other pelagic such as tuna, and tiger mackerel. If Mantas aren't there, there is very little else to see except water, sand, limestone rock and your buddy. This is the place where they usually come to feed, but there is no guarantee of seeing them.
Conditions : The swell can be very strong, therefore it is recommended that this dive should be done early in the morning before the wind starts to pick up

Manta Point - Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Puri Jati (PJ) Puri Jati (PJ)

Location :

Puri Jati (PJ) lies close to the Zen Hotel and a short distance west of Seririt and 13 km west of Lovina.

Highlights : Puri Jati (PJ) dive site with dark volcanic sand and some seaweed and soft coral similar to Seraya, Gilimanuk or Lembeh. It is a good place to see small and rare animals like frogfishes, dragonets, seahorses, nudibranchs, ambon scorpionfish and devil fish, flying gunard, the mimic octopus and other rare species of octopus.
Conditions : With a good current flow in the area. Visibility is around 15m+, Temperatures are usually 26 to 29C but may drop to around 22C

Puri Jati (PJ) Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Padang Bay Menjangan Island

Location : Menjangan Island dive site stretches along the North West Bali coast
Highlights : Dive range around 20 to 30m, mostly wall diving. The waters are clear and calm with a rich variety of fish and since there are seldom of much current, it also a good place for beginners
Conditions : With a good current flow in the area. Visibility is around 15m+, Temperatures are usually 26 to 29C but may drop to around 22C

Menjangan Island Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: Padang BayPemuteran

Location : Pemuteran This dive site is located in front of the docking area of Taman Sari Resort
Highlights : Night dive at Pemuteran is very rewarding and definitely worth a visit. In fact, the well informed diver will prefer to do the night dive than the day dive.
Conditions : Slight to No currents and good visibility makes this an excellent place to dive

Pemuteran Dive Sites

Bali Dive Site: Padang BaySecret Bay

Location : Secret Bay: This dive site is located in front of the docking area of Gilimanuk Harbor
Highlights : Be prepared - you are diving on fine black and gray volcanic sand and rubble and not on a coral reef! This place is a great place for the rare and unusual. This so called muck diving is one of my favorite pastimes since my Instructors & Dive Guides like macro-photography best. Here you will find frogfish
Conditions : The water is always very cold (about 23 to 25°C,) so use a 5mm wetsuit, hood and gloves!

Secret Bay Dive Site

Bali Dive Site: SanurSanur

Location : Sanur Dive Site stretches along the South East of Bali, with a light to mild current flow
Highlights : Sanur's dive sites are of 2 to 12 meters deep. Here you can see a stunning underwater environment, including table and trophy-shaped corals and sponges, with thousands of colorful schools of fish swimming around the reefs.
Conditions : Water temperatures are quite chilly, we had a bone-chilling 18° C on one of our dives, there is always a bit of surge but visibility is normally quite good.
